On World Heart Day, Aditya Birla Health Insurance wanted to create a large-scale awareness and engagement campaign around heart health, while driving downloads and usage of the Activ Health App’s face scan feature. The goal was not just to talk about prevention, but to make people actively check and confront their own heart health through a simple, accessible experience built around everyday smartphone behaviour.
INSIGHT
Most people live in denial about their health. If they feel fine and look fine, they assume everything is okay. At the same time, we live in a culture obsessed with faces, selfies and appearances. The irony? While people constantly look at their faces, they rarely realise their face can reveal deeper truths about their heart health.
IDEA
Aditya Birla Health Insurance launched #LetsFaceIt — a campaign built on the idea that your face can reveal signs of your heart health. Using the Activ Health App’s face scan technology, people could access key heart health indicators through a simple smartphone scan. The campaign turned this innovation into a nationwide awareness movement across influencers, social media, installations, CXO mailers and employee engagement.
